Sammy Spider wants to help Josh get ready for Purim. Instead, he gets stuck inside a grogger! How will he escape? Join Drag King and Purim enthusiast, Captain Kae, for a family friendly reading of “Sammy Spider’s First Purim”.
6PM Drag Makeup Tutorial
Whether it’s your first time in drag or you’re seasoned royalty, join us for our Drag Makeup Tutorial! We’ll learn different makeup styles for kings, queens, and things! We’ll supply the makeup, you bring your creativity!
7PM Drag Purim Shpil
The Purim story but make it gay! Join our drag performers in this fabulous retelling of the story of Esther. Walk the runway in your finest Purim drag, cheer on our hero, and don’t forget your grogger!
7:30PM Purim Foods Contest & Prizes
Bring a dish and vote on your favorite! We’ll have prizes for the winner of each category:
- Sweet Purim foods (hamentashen or otherwise)
- Savory Purim foods (hamentashen or otherwise)
- Foods in Drag (foods that have a hidden identity or look like something else)
