Shavuot Shabbaton: Dedicating our Torah Ark

In honor of Shavuot, join us on the farm for a shabbes full of learning, crafting, singing, playing, swimming, and heartfelt ritual. Together we will complete and dedicate our Torah ark, and enjoy a day of rest and camraderie.

We will be camping, and there is also indoor space to roll out sleeping bags or air mattresses. There is 1 bed that can be used for access needs. Let us know when you register if you need to borrow camping gear or to sleep in the bed.

Schedule

What to bring
- A vegetarian dish for shabbes dinner. Some people in our community are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, or allergic to nuts – please keep these dietary needs in mind as you decide what to bring, so that everyone has at least one thing they can eat. Please list ingredients so that people know what they are able to eat.
- Your favorite salad topping, oatmeal topping, and/or french toast topping (to enhance our meals on Saturday and Sunday)
- Tent, sleeping bag/blankets, and pillows if you have – or request to borrow some in the registration form
- KN95 (or similar) masks for indoors – weather permitting, we will be outside most of the time, but masks are required indoors
- Instrument(s) and/or songbook for singing around the campfire – bring a song to teach!
- Tallis (prayer shawl) if that is your custom and you plan to join us for the Dawn Attunement
- Swimsuit and towel if you plan to get in the water
- BYO mug for coffee/tea if you can
- BYO camping chair if you can
- Pruning shears if you have them
- Glass jar if have a particular one you want to use for the ner tamid craft (we will also have plenty you can use)
- Any games, toys, crafts, etc. that you want for shabbes afternoon
