We want to make sure all CJC members and friends have somewhere to go for seder.

We are grateful to CJC members for hosting and/or leading seders. You can find information about the 3 seder options below. Please RSVP for a seder by Friday, March 27th.


When: Wednesday, April 1st, 6:30pm (1st night)
Where:
Cleveland Heights (RSVP for address), on a screened-in porch
Seder Leaders: Louise Lakhn and Alana Turnbull
Food: Vegan Entrees provided; Vegan Potluck for appetizers and dessert
Access: 
3 stairs no rail or 4 stairs with a double rail to get into the house. First floor bathroom. No pets.
Masks: Required
Bring: Vegan appetizer or dessert
People: 
Max of 10 guests
Kids: No
Themes likely to be highlighted: Liberation, Mutual Aid, Solidarity, Building a Better World in the Here and Now


When: Saturday, April 4th, 4pm (4th night)
Where:
Cleveland Heights (RSVP for address)
Seder Leaders: Jennie Rosenstiel and Harley Rubin
Food: Vegetarian anchor dishes provided; Vegetarian potluck with kitniot labeled (rice, legumes, etc. which some Ashkenazi Jews don’t consider kosher for Pesach)
Access: 
3 stairs no rail or 4 stairs with a double rail to get into the house. First floor bathroom. No pets.
Bring: 
Vegetarian potluck dish (Jennie can help you figure out if your dish contains kitniot in order to label it)
People: 
Max of 20 guests
Kids: Adult-oriented, but up to parental discretion! Please message Harley on Discord or text message if you have questions about the content of the Haggadah.
Themes likely to be highlighted: Trans liberation, queer identity, and anti-trans oppression, both current and historical.


When: Saturday, April 4th, 6:30pm (4th night)
Where:
Brooklyn Centre (RSVP for address)
Seder Leaders: Jeffrey Boudon and Tim Collingwood
Food: Potluck (non-vegetarian); no meat & dairy in the same dish; no kitniot (rice, legumes, etc. which some Ashkenazi Jews don’t consider kosher for Pesach)
Access: 
5-6 steps into house; bathroom on first floor; 1 cat
Bring: 
Potluck dish (no mixed meat & dairy, no kitniot)
People: 
Max of 15 guests
Kids: Adult-oriented, but happy to host kids with some advance notice
Themes likely to be highlighted: Queer & Palestinian liberation
