Rosh Chodesh Elul Shabbaton

Join us for a shabbaton at the farm, as we enter the month of Elul, the preparatory month leading up to Rosh Hashanah, and begin to orient ourselves toward this sacred season.

We will be camping, and there is also limited indoor space to roll out sleeping bags. Let us know when you register if you need to borrow camping gear!
In the interest of continuing to enhance the ways our collective is responsible to and for each other, we are implementing some new strategies for reducing the impact on our environment and our hosts. Toward this goal, you will notice some new items on the packing list. Thank you for doing your part!

We will provide sunscreen and bug repellant to ensure that it’s scent-free and safe for the pond ecosystem — please don’t bring your own.
Schedule
Please feel free to arrive as early as 5pm to set up your tent and get situated. Programming will begin at 7pm with shabbes blessings and a potluck dinner.

Access
- We will mostly be outdoors, hanging out in the fields and garden
- KN95 masks required indoors
- Designated tent areas will be further from the trains to reduce nighttime noise
- This location is mostly wheelchair accessible – we will provide mats to help with the gravel in the driveway and in the case of mud; the bathroom and pond are accessible for partially ambulatory users
- There is 1 bed offsite (approx. 10 minute drive) that can be requested when you register
